The idea began early. As a child, Frida was drawn to fabrics that felt honest and timeless — and to the thought that luxury should be something you feel, not something you have to inspect. She imagined a brand where quality could be taken for granted, where every piece felt beautiful against the skin from the very first wear.
Mewd is that place. We work primarily in pure linen — chosen for the way it breathes, drapes and ages — and craft each piece slowly, to order, in limited drops. It is luxury made quiet: considered, conscious, and made to last for years rather than seasons.
From the materials we choose to the considered, sustainable packaging we ship in, every decision answers the same question — does it feel right, and will it last? That is the Mewd promise: pieces you never have to think about, only enjoy.
